Leo Carrillo State Park Closed After Water Rescue

The state park was closed indefinitely after 50 people were rescued from a flood in the park last week.

MALIBU, CA — Leo Carrillo State Park was indefinitely closed to the public on Friday after 50 people were rescued by authorities in a massive flood.

The California department of parks recreation closed the park Friday to evaluate the damage done in Thursday's flooding. Any violation of the park's closure, such as trespassing, could result in a citation or arrest, according to the department.
