Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsom Endorses Jennifer DeNicola for Malibu City Council Calling Her an "Environmental Leader"

Malibu, CA – Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsom has endorsed Jennifer DeNicola for Malibu City Council. The Lt. Governor serves on the State Lands Commission, protecting California’s precious natural resources and is working on bottom-up regional strategies for traffic abatement.

"Jennifer DeNicola is an environmental leader who, as a coalition builder and fierce advocate, has demonstrated that she can work with all levels of government to bring together the necessary resources to protect and preserve Malibu. I am continually impressed by her work ethic and leadership on important, tough issues. I am proud to endorse Jennifer for Malibu City Council, her intelligence, integrity and tenacity will make her an effective leader whom the residents of Malibu can depend on,” commented Gavin Newsom.

Newsom’s endorsement comes on the heels of an endorsement for Jennifer DeNicola for Malibu City Council by Congressman Ted Lieu earlier this month.
