Malibu Awards Nearly $200K In Grants To Local Nonprofits
Grantees include the Boys and Girls Club Malibu, Emily Shane Foundation and the Malibu Elementary School PTA.
MALIBU, CA — The city has awarded nearly $200,000 in grants to local nonprofits as part of its 2023-24 round of General Fund Grants.
The grants are awarded each year to local charitable, volunteer and philanthropic organizations that benefit the community. Nonprofits must submit applications, which are reviewed by the City Council’s Administration and Finance Subcommittee, and presented to the City Council for award during the annual budget approval, according to city officials.
