Malibu Chili Cook-Off Will Return Labor Day Weekend For Its 41st Year
The event is much more than just a chili competition, attracting some 25,000 people each year in support of the Boys & Girls Club of Malibu.

MALIBU, CA — Get your spoons ready, the annual Malibu Chili Cook-Off will make its return over Labor Day weekend for its 41st year.
The four-day event will feature food, drink, carinal rides, a skate competition and of course, the signature Chili Competition. Cooks will go head-to-head in meat and vegan categories, vying for top-chili and fan-favorite honors.
Last year, Duke's Malibu won both the people's choice and classic chili awards, while Beyond Meat took the vegan title.

Tickets are on sale now and will not be sold on site. All proceeds from the event, which attracts some 25,000 people annually, will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Malibu.
"We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our esteemed partners for their unwavering support, not only for this event but also for the impactful year-long programs benefiting the youth and community at the Boys & Girls Club of Malibu and the club's Wellness Center," said BGCM CEO Kasey Earnest.

Attractions will include a 24-foot-high climbing wall, a junior carinal area, and the Barefoot Dreams Lounge, described as a "cozy-chic oasis" for beer and local wine.
The 4th Annual Johnny Strange Legacy Skate Competition will feature jam-session style competitions for intermediate and advanced riders and cash prizes. Public skate practice sessions will also be available at the Bones Love Milk Skateboard Mini Ramp.
