Malibu Community Pool Closed, Will Reopen Saturday
The Malibu Community Swimming pool will reopen Saturday after maintenance.
MALIBU, CA — The Malibu Community pool is scheduled to reopen Saturday after closing for maintenance, the city announced Friday.
The pool was closed for "unforeseen SMMUSD maintenance issues, according to the city of Malibu. The pool will be open Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with programs running throughout the day.
Pool use is drop in only and lanes are issued on a first-come-first-served basis. A visit costs $2 for children ages 5-17, $3 for adults 18-54 and free for people ages 55 and over.

The pool will close again on Jan. 16 for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
