Malibu Creek Murder Trial Continues With More Testimony: Report
Anthony Rauda is accused of murdering a man who was camping with his daughters at Malibu Creek and the attempted murder of several others.

MALIBU, CA — A man who was camping in a trailer at Malibu Creek State Park in 2016 recently testified in court about being disturbed late at night by a boom and then seeing a hole in his camper's wall, The Acorn reported.
“I sat up in bed, turned the light on and looked to see what happened,” Ron Carson testified in court, according to The Acorn. “There was debris everywhere. I was in bed with buckshot, and there was a hole in the wall.”
Prosecutors say Carson was among several people Anthony Rauda shot at late at night in Malibu Creek State Park in 2016. Rauda is currently on trial for charges related to those shootings, as well as a murder charge for the death of Tristan Beaudette, who was fatally shot while camping at the park with his daughters.
