Malibu High PTSA Reflections Contest Winners Recognized
The first-place winners will move on to the district level competition.
The PTSA recently honored the winners in the annual PTA Reflections arts competition. Reflections is a national competition with six categories: literature, photography, visual arts, film production, musical competition and dance choreography.
The first-place winners will move on to the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District level of the competition. This year's theme was "Diversity Means ..."

- High School Photography: Rebecca Banks (first place), David Ochmanek (second place), Braden Finnerty (third place), Akana Ozawa (honorable mention), Rachel Uvaydov (honorable mention) and Jason Frankle (honorable mention).
- Middle School Photography: Xena Amirani (first place) and Daisy Armstrong (second place).
- High School Literature: Georgia Johnson (first place), Sarah Larson (second place), Tanner Porter (third place), Zena Kesselman (honorable mention), Alexis Hada (honorable mention) and Jack Platner (honorable mention).
- Middle School Literature: Sophie Johnson (first place), Xena Amirani (second place), Alex Colby (third place) and Benjamin Le (honorable mention).
