The  girls varsity tennis team is on its way to a league championship. The Sharks have a 15-1 overall record and are 9-0 in league play following recent wins against Nordhoff (15-3) and Oaks Christian (11-7). Malibu is ranked No. 6 in the CIF Southern Section Division 3 poll and No. 4 among area schools by the Los Angeles Daily News. Malibu will conclude the regular season today at home against La Reina. The match will begin at 2:05 p.m. The individual league finals will take place on Monday and Tuesday. The CIF tournament will begin Nov. 8.
