The girls varsity volleyball team is having a dream season. The highly talented Sharks are finding their groove. This was shown in Tuesday's 3-0 (25-6, 25-15, 25-13) win over Fillmore, which was Malibu's third consecutive victory.
Game one included an onslaught of Paige Stoker aces. She served 12 straight to take a 15-3 lead. The Sharks played like a mature, well-experienced team and easily won the game.
Game two was a close start. The teams exchanged leads until around the 10-point mark. From there, the Sharks took control behind the leadership and performances of Coral Silverberg, Allison Hahn and Amara Gwyn.

Game three was a display of poise and agility for the Malibu girls. Gigi Hadid blasted several spikes straight down for key points at the start. "Big" Mak Kizis dominated the net both on offense and defense. Malibu cruised through the game to win the match.
The Sharks play again today at 6 p.m. at Santa Paula. Malibu's next home match is on Tuesday at 6 p.m. against Grace Brethren.
