Malibu Honors Veterans In Virtual Ceremony
The 21st annual ceremony will show highlights of past events honoring those who served.
MALIBU, CA — Malibu has celebrated Veterans Day for 21 years, and the pandemic isn't stopping that.
On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, the Malibu Veterans Day Committee will host a virtual Veterans Day Ceremony under the theme of "Honoring Heroes & Legends of Past, Present, and Future." The ceremony will highlight clips from past ceremonies taking place at Malibu City Hall, Legacy Park, and Hero's Garden at Pepperdine University.
The ceremony was organized by Malibu Veterans Day Committee founder and chairperson Ani Dermenjian, who is also president of the Malibu Association of Realtors. It was sponsored by the City of Malibu, Pepperdine University, the Malibu Navy League, HRL Laboratories, and the Malibu Association of Realtors.
