The ceremony will highlight clips from past ceremonies taking place at Malibu City Hall, Legacy Park, and Hero's Garden at Pepperdine University. The ceremony was organized by Malibu Veterans Day Committee founder and chairperson Ani Dermenjian, who is also president of the Malibu Association of Realtors. It was sponsored by the City of Malibu, Pepperdine University, the Malibu Navy League, HRL Laboratories, and the Malibu Association of Realtors.
