Malibu Launches Virtual Recreation Center to Help Residents Stay Active, Engaged and Well at Home
March 24, 2020

Even though City Hall, the Senior Center and City parks are closed, the City’s Community Services Department has been hard at work to launch a new Virtual Recreation Center. The Virtual Recreation Center features programs, activities and classes designed to help residents stay active, engaged, and entertained during the Stay at Home Order issued by Governor Newsom.

“As we all stay safe at home and practice social distancing to overcome this challenge, we also need to stay healthy, mentally and physically,” Mayor Karen Farrer said. “I hope you will join us in the Virtual Recreation Center and enjoy the excellent programs the City offers to help you get through these tough times. Know that we are here for you, and the City of Malibu is committed to continuing to work to serve the community every day.”
