Malibu residents are expected to continue restricting water use through Wednesday night.
MALIBU, CA — Malibu residents are expected to restrict water use to only essential drinking and sanitation needs through at least Wednesday night.
Los Angeles County Public Works water main repairs took longer than expected, pushing the restrictions through Wednesday. Customers were expected to turn off landscape irrigation and avoid filling swimming pools.
Residents will be notified when they can resume normal water use, according to the city of Malibu. The construction could last longer than Wednesday.
