Malibu Weather: Fog, Cool Temps Replace Excessive Heat

MALIBU, CA – After long, grueling days of red flag warnings, wind advisories, and excessive heat warnings, Southlanders will finally get some much needed relief from the blazing temperatures. Looking ahead to this week, the weather will drop significantly along with an increase in fog – and even the chance of rain.

Pull out your sweaters and fuzzy socks for some cozy fall weather. Here's temperatures in Malibu this week from the National Weather Service:

Today
Patchy drizzle before 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 65. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south southwest in the morning.

Tonight
A 20 percent chance of rain after 11pm. Cloudy, with a low around 55. West southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southeast in the evening. Winds could gust as high as 15 mph.

Tuesday
A 20 percent chance of rain before 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 67. East southeast wind around 5 mph becoming southwest in the morning.

Patchy fog after 11pm. Otherwise, cloudy, with a low around 53. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming east southeast in the evening.
