Fatal Stabbing Near Malibu Lifeguard Tower Prompts Sheriff's Investigation: Deputies

A man died after deputies responded to Las Tunas Beach for a domestic violence incident between the man and a woman Tuesday night.

MALIBU, CA — A man died Tuesday night after being stabbed near a Las Tunas Beach lifeguard tower, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies responded to the 19400 block of Pacific Coast Highway just after 11 p.m. after being called to the area for a domestic violence incident between a man and woman. Authorities found a Hispanic man in his 20s suffering from blunt force trauma to his upper torso, deputies said.

The man was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to authorities.

Authorities told ABC 7 that witnesses heard the man and woman arguing before the stabbing. The woman is considered a suspect in the man's death, though no arrest has been made.
