I love America...but I have never had to struggle to get an education, to pay rent from month to month......to feed my children....

By most objective indicators...Sweden offers the average citizen a much better education, better access to health care...a safer society, a higher standard of living, more vacation time, more happiness (as per poll) and a higher quality of life (as per poll). These indicators have been measured year after year and the United States has ranked in the high teens with respect to other countries...only this year rising to #12.

Sweden, along with the other Scandinavian countries, as well as Germany, Switzerland, Australia, and about a half dozen others...rank ahead of the United States in the “Quality of Life” Index.

If you are financially secure then the United States might just offer the best life for you, Or, if you win the lottery..then the United States might offer the best lifestyle for you and your family...but, otherwise...Sweden is a pretty good place to be living...... from many objective indicators...

Why does everyone pick on Scandinavian countries? They are doing a lot of things ”right”. What % of Swedes are living in poverty? Could the environmental and civil rights disaster that happened to Flint, Michigan happen in Sweden..? I seriously doubt it....Only 1% of Swedes live in poverty...1%!! In the United States roughly 1 in 6 people live in poverty...and 21.8% of children under 18. That is a Total DISGRACE. WE SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THAT...while others have billions .....
