Meet an “Amazing” With Precision Dressage Skills
She competes regularly against men and women far younger.

Esther Brooks, 73, has loved horses since she was 13, but only began dressage lessons at age 40. She competes regularly against men and women far younger than she.
Her excellence in the sport, in particular her ability to ride young and difficult horses, was recently recognized by the highest levels of official Equestrian Australia competitions. She won the Best Masters performance category in Inside Sport's 2017 Clubbies awards.
Esther says it’s not the awards that matter to her, it’s the relationships she’s developed with the horses and her equestrian community. As a bonus, she claims that it’s the exercise she receives through her 5-days-a-week training with her horse that keeps her mind and body in good shape.
