Meet an “Amazing” Still Hanging-Ten With Every Fiber of His Being
Corky Carroll, 70, surfs every day.

Corky Carroll, 70, may have retired from the professional surfing circuit at 24, but he’s never stopped surfing! He still surfs every day where he currently resides in Mexico, although he does favor the stand-up paddleboard now.
Among his many kudos, Corky won the United States Surfing Championship, and the International Surfing Championship three times. Altogether, Corky has won over 100 surfing competitions. His first win was at the ripe old age of 11, when he placed third in the very first U.S. Surfboard Championship ever to be held in California--at Huntington Beach.
In addition to his surfing career, Corky is a musician, author, surfing contest commentator and columnist for the Orange County Register. His take on life? No complaints! It’s very good. And he hopes to continue doing exactly what he’s doing for as long as he’s on planet Earth.
