Margaret Atwood, age 78, writer, activist, professor and critic, has the distinction of seeing one of her novels, The Handmaid’s Tale (published in 1985 to great critical acclaim), turned into a television series this
year, on Hulu.

Margaret is a prolific writer, starting when she was six with plays and poems, quickly graduating to short stories and novels. Her most recent novel came out in 2016: Hag-Seed. She is living proof
that one’s mind can be bright, brilliant and endlessly creative at any age!
