Meet an “Amazing” Who Gets Thrills By Solo Ocean-Crossing
His kayak is powered solely by his muscles.

Aleksander Doba, at 70, kayaked across the Atlantic--for the third time! Known throughout Poland even before his trans-Atlantic journeys as among the best of the best in the kayaking world, he designed the kayak that enables him to make such perilous journeys. After all, he has to manage his life over 100 days, alone, out there on the ocean, so somehow he had to create a kayak that would hold all the necessary supplies for daily living for that long--an astonishing feat!
His kayak is powered solely by his muscles. As he paddles, he must avoid/survive flying fish, sharks, storms, to name but a few. Whew! For others (like me!) even the thought of such a journey is exhausting, but for Aleksander, it’s thrilling, it’s life itself. Paddle on!
