Meet an “Amazing” Who Loves Creating Glass Masterpieces

Peter Layton, at 78, is one of the most respected masters of glass-blowing on our planet. He has the distinction of having founded and run the oldest glass-blowing studio in the UK, some 40+ years ago.

He’s been enamored of the art of glass-blowing since he learned the secrets of Venetian art glass-blowing from Harvey Littleton, an American who dedicated his life and career to discovering those techniques.

Peter’s work is treasured by celebrities (and royalty!), but one of his greatest joys is being able to offer affordable glass art via his gallery in Bermondsey, England where customers can also visit the workshop to see the glass-blowing process, from sand to art!
