Meet an “Amazing" Who Played at the Grand Ole Opry
The dream of Lois Cunningham, 100, finally came true.

Lois Cunningham, 100, had her dream come true when she performed at the Grand Ole Opry just a couple of years ago, at 98. Her appearance was at a performance headlined by country star Josh Turner, her grandson-in-law (his wife is his grand-daughter). She certainly surprised the audience, but what stunned them was her astonishing, soul-filled piano rendition of “How Great Thou Art.” The standing ovation had Lois beaming, for it was the culmination of a lifetime of piano-playing and her love of the art. Who says dreams don’t come true!
