Meet an “Amazing” Who Proves You Can be a Hero at Any Age

Lindell Marbut, age 85, was more than a little surprised when a driver lost control navigating around a curve in Johnson County, Texas, flipped over and landed in his driveway. The car burst into flames, and Lindell, who can barely walk even with the help of a cane, banged his cane on the windshield, saw a woman’s hand sticking out, grabbed ahold of it. He pulled her out of the car.

His caretaker, who’d run to call 911, then joined Lindell to drag the woman into the safety of Lindell’s garage.

The two then pulled a second woman out to safety. Both women survived.

First responders were stunned that Lindell managed such a feat. He however, simply felt like someone trying to save someone else's life. And he’d do it again if he had to. Nothing heroic in it at all. Wow!
