Meet an “AMAZING” Who Thrives on Her Commitment to Community

Jean Krejci, 82, prefers not to be the one shoveling snow in her home town but she'll do it when it's needed.

Jean Krejci, age 82, prefers not to be the one shoveling snow in her home town of Lincoln, NB, but she’ll do it when it’s needed.

A retired community health educator and diversity trainer, Jean received her PhD in Medical Anthropology at the age of 57. She also lived and worked in Columbia for 6 years where she taught, was a community organizer, and director of a community center.

A bright, kind woman with a big heart, Jean continues to be very active in the community, doing health and wellness training for seniors, as well as advocating for diversity and inclusion in the community. And participates in a weekly Spanish conversation group (given her fluent Spanish) to help others learning
the language. A truly well-filled life.
