Meet an "Amazing" Whose Winning Smile & Long Legs Are Legendary

Tommy Tune's optimism and positive attitude about life and dance radiate in his signature smile.

Tommy Tune, at 79, is one of the most brilliant dancers, choreographers and musical theatre directors the Broadway stage has ever known. He was honored with the Tony’s “Lifetime Achievement Award” in 2015--this after already winning 10 – count them – 10 Tony awards! Although Tommy started with ballet, his long legs and height (6’6”) made him a better fit for other forms of dance, so off he went, to his utterly fabulous career. His devotion to dance didn’t stop there. Tommy founded the “Tommy Tune Award,” which honors excellence in high school musical productions in Houston where he attended high school. Tommy’s optimism and positive attitude about life and dance radiate in his signature smile.
