Meet an “Amazings” Who’s Every Abandoned Dog’s Dream Pal

Eugene Bostick, age 82, built his dog train and has been making previously un-loved dogs happy ever since.

Eugene Bostick, age 82, never knew what a strange turn his life would take after retirement. He's now a train conductor and caretaker for stray and abandoned dogs! People would sometimes dump their unwanted dogs at Eugene and his brother’s horse farm, down at the end of a dead-end street. Eugene would feed the dogs, let them in, take them to the vet when necessary. one day got the idea – from seeing a tractor pulling a
row of carts filled with rocks – to build a “dog train.” He figured that would be a way to give the dogs some fun. After all, what dog doesn’t love a ride? Eugene built his dog train and has been making previously
un-loved dogs happy ever since.
