Meet three “Amazings” Who Strut Their Stuff For A Good Cause

Ladies dance to "Single Ladies" in quest to save beloved lawn bowling club.

Some people are willing to do almost anything to make sure something they love lives on! And that’s the case with Wyn Hewett, 72, Terry Foster, 82, and Janine Hall, 82, who jumped at the chance to participate in a parody dance video (under the direction of club member Denise Wallish, 58) to save their beloved Chadstone Bowls Club.

For many of the local seniors, the Club is a reason to get up in the morning; it’s more than a sport, it’s a way of being connected to their community. The Club is threatened by demolition to make room for a new $20 million netball and basketball stadium. The Bowling Club ladies hope that with their “Beyoncé” efforts, the Club will continue to be the thriving center of their social life for many more years. Fingers crossed!
