Waking up with the waves on Monday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Malibu Patch surf report. Well, this stretch of coast is looking pretty micro. So, unless you're up for a paddle, don't even waste your time!
The conditions are pretty clean and glassy early on, with a mix of some very minimal leftover west/northwest swell and a tad of southerly energy in the water. That's offering some gutless little lines, with a few fun ones on a log.
Most Malibu spots are seeing ankle- to knee-high waves, with the focal points pulling a few plus sets.

At 5:19 this morning the tide dropped to a 1.5 low, which will have many spots lacking water early on. The tide will push up to a 3.9 high at 11:03 a.m. and then drops once again to a 1.0 low at 5:14 p.m.
If you're planning on paddling, break out at least a 3/2 fullsuit and maybe the booties, with the water temperature averaging between 56 and 57 degrees. See ya in the water!
