MY TRANSCENDENT FACIAL EXPERIENCE

Let me first say, honestly, and for the sake of full disclosure...that Veronica’s Spa is in the same building where I work. I know Veronica and admire her a great deal. It might appear that I am writing this out of some form of favoritism....but, like all of my other blogs that celebrate people and businesses in Malibu this is just as genuine.

This last Saturday I came in for a facial....I didn’t have amazing expectations...I like taking care of my skin but I don’t go to great lengths.....how was I supposed to know that this was going to be one part skin care, one part massage, and one part zen decompression. Ellice was my esthetician. She is new to the Spa as she is replacing Alli who is leaving to open up a “Veronica’s Spa” in Napa, California. Ellice was excellently professional in everything.....a gentle, yet thorough communicator who guided me through the whole process. Her technique in the facial process was new to me...and impressive. She used many different lotions and exfoliators that all had soothing, clean, scents. At the end of my ”white cloud” experience I felt like I had let go of all the tension in my body.....and my face felt as healthy as ever....

Perhaps my favorite part of the treatment was the arm and hand massage that Ellice incorporated into the experience.....the dim lighting...the soft music....I didn’t want to leave!

p.s. I have been assured that all the estheticians at “Veronica’s” follow the same process.....there is a refined uniformity to the process.
