Neptune's Net Reopens Following Springs Fire
Neptune's Net is popular with motorcyclists, especially on the weekends.
Neptune's Net escaped the fury of the Springs Fire thanks to a shift in wind and the work of firefighters.
"We got very fortunate out here," said Dan Walden, manager of Neptune's Net. "It got close, but then there was a wind shift."
Walden said the restaurant was closed Friday because Pacific Coast Highway was shut down from Mulholland Highway to Las Posas Road.

"I was worried there for a little while. Especially since this is such a beautiful place on the beach," said Adam Slusser of Santa Monica, who rode his motorcycle up Pacific Coast Highway.
