New Crosswalk Planned For Beach Access On PCH
Construction is set to begin soon on the new crosswalk.

MALIBU, CA — Crews will soon begin work on installing an upgraded crosswalk on Pacific Coast Highway in front of County Line Beach.
The crosswalk and associated traffic lights will be installed at post mile 1.15 in Ventura County, in front of County Line Beach and Neptune’s Net Restaurant, according to Caltrans.
The $1.5 million project includes a market crosswalk and pedestrian hybrid beacon signals at the crosswalk, along with flashing warning beacons 800 feet north and south of the crosswalk, according to Caltrans.

Officials said the work will begin soon, but did not reveal a specific schedule. Lane closures are planned.
At least one lane of Pacific Coast Highway will be open during construction from just south of Tonga Street to a half-mile north of Yerba Buena Road.
