Crews will perform guardrail and manhole adjustment work on the boulevard between Entrado Drive and Pacific Coast Highway Monday through Friday. Work is scheduled to begin as early as 10 p.m. each night and continue until as late as 6 a.m. One lane will remain open for traffic in both directions through work zones, with flaggers directing vehicles through alternating one-way traffic. The locations of the traffic controls may shift during the night, and signs will be posted to alert drivers. The closures are weather permitting and subject to change. Motorists should expect delays and consider alternate routes during construction hours. Residents and businesses near the highway may also experience noise, vibrations and dust. The work is part of Caltrans' State Route 27 pavement rehabilitation project, which stretches more than 18 miles from Pacific Coast Highway through Topanga and the San Fernando Valley to Devonshire Street in Chatsworth. The project includes repaving and upgrades to curb ramps, pedestrian push buttons and bus pads. Work in the San Fernando Valley portion of the project has been completed. Caltrans expects the entire project to be finished in summer 2027.
