Patti at Sandpiper Pet Hotel is the best!

Yet again another Holiday that Patti has to work at Sandpiper while Ignacio, the personal human pet of owner Mike Diamond the foul smelling plumber, did not have to work! Even though Ignacio was on the schedule for today he does not have to follow the schedule and he gets to be at home with his family. Patti has not had a Holiday with her family for just about as long as she has worked for Mike Diamond at Sandpiper……. about 10 years.

Ignacio gets away with anything and everything he wants!. Yet if something goes wrong that Ignacio should be held accountable for….. Patti gets put down and dragged across the colas! It is very unfair the way Patti is treated by the men of Sandpiper! Sexism seems to be common practice! “She’s just the little girl” as has been overheard.

Patti loves all the dogs that come through Sandpiper and wants to give them the best care possible, but she deserves a Holiday with her family! Let us see what unfolds for Christmas! I bet she will be working and Mike will allow Ignacio to have the day off. Last Christmas season Patti worked 33 days in a row covering Ignacio’s shifts, with several days being around 14 hours long!

Patti really deserved a vacation after that, yet she continued to work to take care of the dogs. She did take an extra day off here and there throughout the year to try to catch up on things….. but when she did take a day off Mike Diamond reprimanded her for it! What a tyrant!

Patti often racks up nearly 40 hours in just 3 days. Often she will work well over 50 hours per week. She will also come in on her days off to help out. Plus, she does kennel errands and shopping on her own time. She goes far above and beyond for Sandpiper and the dogs that board there! Patti will drive in from very far away on her day off if a dog needs to be taken to the vet because Ignacio will not take them. He calls Patti and waits for her to arrive! Yet this man gets the royal treatment from Mike Diamond and Patti gets treated like crap! Oh, that’s right…..”she’s just a little girl” and not a man!

Clients of Sandpiper love Patti.They have respect for her! They know she’s wonderful and that she is the one that really cares about their beloved dogs and their needs!

Please think about Patti and wish her well! Yes, she is the one that actually cares for your dogs and tries to make sure they are safe in that place! She isn’t the one wanting every last dollar by cramming in as many dogs as possible!

I do feel that Mike Diamond and Ignacio should be ashamed of themselves!

There is so much more that could be said about certain issues, but this will be all for now!
