PCH Roadwork Begins Sept. 25 With Intermittent Lane Closures
Work on the PCH/Las Flores Canyon Road intersection is expected to be finished by the winter, officials said.

MALIBU, CA — Work will begin Sept. 25 on a months-long project to upgrade the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Las Flores Canyon Road, city officials said.
The project, set to be completed by the winter, will mean lanes will be closed intermittently on weekdays, with occasional Saturday work, from 9 to 3 p.m.
Caltrans crews will install a protected left-turn lane on the southbound side of PCH; upgrade traffic signal hardware, lighting and poles; upgrade a flashing-beacon warning system; and install a sign that alerts motorists of their speed, city officials said.

The project is meant to enhance safety and traffic flow.
Businesses and residents will be have access to the area during construction and businesses will be able to keep their regular hours, according to officials.
