Pedestrian Killed, Another Injured After Being Struck Crossing PCH
All lanes of PCH were closed at El Matador State Beach for the accident investigation.
MALIBU, CA - One person was killed and one person was injured Saturday when a man and woman were struck by a vehicle while crossing Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, authorities said.
The accident was reported at 5:25 p.m. in the 32500 block of Pacific Coast Highway at El Matador State Beach, said Lt. Christina Baker of the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station.
One patient was airlifted to a hospital and one of the pedestrians was pronounced dead at the scene, Baker said.

The pedestrians were described as a man and woman about 20 years-old, said Dispatch Supervisor Art Marrujo of the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
