"This fund is a testament to the love and compassion of our Pepperdine community, and it is our collective opportunity to make a meaningful impact on all who are affected by this profound loss," reads a statement from Pepperdine. "The fund will also support the Pepperdine community now and in the future, with the hope of establishing memorials and scholarships in the victims' honor."

The four Pepperdine seniors were killed on Oct. 17 when a motorist accused of driving over 100 mph on PCH crashed into several parked cars, which struck the women, according to authorities.

The driver, Fraser Michael Bohm, 22, of Malibu, is charged with four counts each of murder and vehicular manslaughter. His bail was set at $4 million; he posted bond last week and was released from custody.

Bohm's attorney has claimed that his client was the victim of a road-rage incident and was being chased by another driver when the crash occurred.
