Name of the person who nominated the hero:
Avesta Carrara
Is the nominee considered an “essential worker”?:
No
What does the nominee do for work?:
Petey is a Pepperdine student
Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
Petey started asking his neighbors in Pt. Dume Club, many of whom are seniors, what he could pick up for them at the grocery store. From there, it took off...he and other Pepperdine students have been shopping, picking up prescriptions and running other errands. They broadcast it out, and got it started at other universities and it is nationwide now in just one month.
What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
Petey is selfless, and very resourceful.
