Her campaign is focused on economic stability, lowering the cost of living, housing affordability, wildfire recovery, public safety and constitutional equality. Wilding signed the Congressional Term Limits pledge and the Equal Rights Amendment pledge, reinforcing her commitment to accountability, ethical leadership and equal protection under the law. Every spring, when the plankton is blooming and the kindergarten students are studying science, teacher Patti Mehring brings her Juan Cabrillo Elementary School students down to Zuma Beach.  At the beach, the kindergarten students team up with Malibu High School biology researchers in Bob Perry's class who are conducting their regular weekly analysis of the marine life at Zuma.   The younger students shadow the older ones, and are able to see the instruments and some of the species that are commonly found. The day provides an enriching experience for both age groups and may help young students become interested in their environment. In addition, it may cause some high school students to consider becoming educators themselves.
