Hi Everyone, I am excited to launch our Pilates and Paddle Events tomorrow, Tyler Lennon of cove Paddle Fitness. We aspire to bring fitness and balanced wellness experiences to a new level. As a professional dancer now teaching pilates and personal training, I aim to bring my experience in western medicine, and integrative healing to create sessions which educate clients to feel aligned, lifted, and powerful. Tyler has a wealth of experience in guiding paddle board excursions locally in Malibu, and to remote, stunning beaches across the coast. I strive to teach clients about healthy alignment of their bodies through postural awareness and exercises to deepen core stability and support, and then to translate this into daily activities and sports. Learning how to align oneself powerfully in a standing position, grounded from the feet up through the top of the head, and breathing consciously to enhance core support, creates a body of balance and efficiency. A stable "machine" on the ground is then ready to face the challenges of an unstable surface and surroundings, such as paddling in open water. My intention is to educate clients about their personal alignment, core support, breathing mechanics, efficient shoulder and hip stability/mobility, balance, and proprioception; aiming to leave clients feeling energized, lifted, powerful and ready to propel themselves through the water on a paddle board, injury free. Donations for the pilates class on the beach at 8am will benefit Mending Kids International, and my work to bring pilates to the schools in Malibu. Paddle Boarding at 9am is currently at capacity, but let us know if you are interested. We hope to make this a monthly event! Best to all, Jennifer
