Preschool Teacher Gets Storybook Marriage Proposal

A man wrote a children's love story between a lobster and a crab and donned a giant lobster costume to propose to his girlfriend.

A Santa Monica preschool teacher got a storybook marriage proposal when her boyfriend and school got together for the surprise of a lifetime.

Joe Graceffa, a Co-Founder of PromoCodes4You.Com, wrote and illustrated a children’s book about a lobster and a crab subtly based on his life with girlfriend Elsa Cremer, a preschool teacher at Piper Preschool in Santa Monica.

Her boss asked her to read the children’s book for a promotional video at the end of which Graceffa, dressed as Bobster the Lobster, walks in and pops the question.

“I wanted to do something at her preschool, because it was the one place I could of think would be most meaningful to her,” Graceffa told ABC News.

Each page of the story about a lobster falling in love with a crab, featured places the couple had visited together.

“I was thinking to myself all these places are places we’ve been,” Cremer said at the end of the video.

So will the lobster and crab live happily ever after?

See for yourself.
