Public Health Officials Issue Warning For Certain LA County Beaches

DOCKWEILER BEACH (CBSLA) — Public health officials have issued a warning for those headed to certain LA County beaches.

Officials warn of swimming, surfing and playing in the water around discharging storm drains, creeks and rivers near the Hyperion Sewage Treatment Plant in Playa Del Rey.

A sampling of the water Thursday showed the bacteria level exceeded state standards.
