Will Your Commute Be Affected By Malibu Roadwork This Summer?

Various road work projects will be conducted throughout Malibu, but are projected to be finished before the first day of school on August 22

MALIBU, CA — City contractors have started working on the Annual Street Maintenance Project to repair and resurface streets the City owns. All affected residents will be notified of work scheduled in their area, according to a City of Malibu statement, and the work is supposed to be completed before the first day of school on August 22 aside from some striping work which shouldn't impact local schools.

Residents will have access to their streets and driveways, although some delays should be expected, the City said. Traffic control will be conducted using flaggers, and the City asks motorists to drive carefully through work areas and observe the signs.
