Rocks, Mud Force Two Road Closures In Malibu
Mud and rock slides forced two closures in Malibu over the weekend.
MALIBU, CA – A rockslide forced the closure of Malibu Canyon Road between Piuma Road and Harbor Vista Drive Sunday, Caltrans officials said.
Malibu's city website said the road was closed "north of the tunnel due to boulders blocking traffic lanes."
The Los Angeles County Department of Public Works was enroute, city officials said. Motorists were advised to use alternate routes.
