Police Detain Man in Military Fatigues Prowling near Taylor Swift's Home

A man was taken into custody for a "medical evaluation," following a report of a prowler near singer Taylor Swift's home in the Bel Air.

LOS ANGELES, CA Los Angeles police detained a man near singer Taylor Swift’s home in the Bel Air area, authorities said today.

Police went to the 1800 block of North Beverly Boulevard about 2:45 p.m. Wednesday in response to a call reporting a prowler, said Los Angeles police Officer Jane Kim.

The man, whose name was not released, was taken into custody for a “medical evaluation,” Kim said. He was not arrested.

According to TMZ.com , the man was wearing military-style fatigues.

This was not the first time an unwanted visitor has been reported in Taylor’s space. In March of 2014, a judge granted a three-year extension of a restraining order against Timothy Sweet, a man who allegedly claimed he was Swift’s husband.

Sweet allegedly said he was married to Swift and would kill anyone who stands between them, including her family. He first began stalking the singer in January 2011, according Swift’s court papers.
