School District Committee Needs Malibu Representative
The committee is examining the feasibility of parcel tax and capitol improvement bond measures.

The Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District is looking for at least one Malibu resident to serve on the citizens committee tasked with determining the feasibility of tax measures.
A press release from the SMMUSD states, "The Citizens' Committee to examine the feasibility of an emergency funding measure and future capital improvement bond measure is seeking Malibu representation."
The committee will meet at various times during the 2011-12 school year.

Committee applications can be found here. Completed applications should be e-mailed to swahrenbrock@smmusd.org, faxed to 310-581-1138 or dropped off at the SMMUSD office at 1651 16th St. in Santa Monica. The deadline to apply is Sept. 30.
