SENATOR BERNIE SANDERS IS SHAKING THE CAGES....MORE THAN YOU MIGHT THINK

This is Amazing!...and it could be looked on as an oncoming Apocalypse to those who are stridently opposed to Socialism in this country. I am quite surprised that the Republican party has not viewed the Bernie Sanders machine in the same way that the Democracts would view a Republican running for President as a Segregationist..... and drawing the biggest crowds, by far!

Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont had 28,000 people show up at his rally in Portland yesterday. No one other than Bernie Sanders has had more than 10,000 supporters at a rally...Bernie has had 9 of the 10 highest turnouts for Republican OR Democrat rallies. Today, in Los Angeles, Bernie Sanders drew 27,000 people to his rally....in contrast, Hillary Clinton recently drew 5,000 to a well publicized event in NYC. Jeb Bush can barely get enough people to play Twister to his rallies. Most Presidential rallies are getting 2 to 3,000.

We are talking about a 73 year old man with a strong Brooklyn accent who is from the Eastern Seaboard. Sanders is a Socialist....socialism is incredibly abhorred by the entire Republican party...it is their greatest fear.

Socialism is a system of government that is most notable by the fact that taxes are very high...upwards of 70%, government controls virtually everything for the common good. There are a great deal of entitlements and social services that are offered to ALL the citizens of a country...I think it is fair to say that it is not what America was founded on.....we uphold capitalism...a “survival of the fittest” type of free market democracy...a meritocracy.

Sanders poll numbers show him up to 36% in some states when compared to Hillary. Many think he has a very good chance of beating Hillary in New Hampshire and/ or Iowa. In all polls Bernie Sanders beats Donald Trump nationally. This is a very provocative development....

Sanders is not telegenic, nor does he have a speech style that is endearing to middle America....he is a harkening back to Al Smith, a rough and tumble ethnic New York pol of the 1920’s who ran for President against Franklin Roosevelt and lost due to his strong regional connection with New York City.

If Bernie Sanders looked and sounded like the Robert Redford we all knew when he was in his 50’s, I wouldn’t think even Redford could get more than marginal traction in a democratic primary running as a socialist....Sanders is Big News...is this a foreshadowing of American sentiment in the years to come?....is economic inequality pushing otherwise stalwart capitalists towards the the European model of democracy?

Sanders has shown some different campaigning tactics...he has virtually nothing to say about any of his political opponents. He doesn’t criticize even Hillary. He is incorruptible. He can’t be bought....he is Bernie Sanders.

What does it all mean? Will it resonate?  Is this just the beginning?
