Sharks Baseball Halts Oaks Christian
The Sharks Baseball team moved to 8-2 on the season and 1-1 in conference play with a win over national power, Oaks Christian.

Jordan Simon went 5-5, with a triple, 3 RBI, 5 runs scored, and 4 Stolen Bases, and Hunter Johnson added 4 hits and 4 RBIs, to lead the Malibu varsity baseball squad over to a 16-8 win over conference and national powerhouse Oaks Christian on Friday.
Chase Lambert and Mark Stevenson each had 2 hits and 3 RBI, and pitcher Harry McAlevey moved to 4-0 on the season and 1-0 in conference, helping the Sharks even the series with Oaks Christian, which beat Malibu in the conference opener on Wednesday.
The Sharks move to 1-1 to stay on pace with the rest of the pack in the opening week of conference play.

Friday's victory over Oaks Christian, in which the Sharks pounding out 18 hits served as a morale booster for the Sharks baseball program, who move to 8-2 on the year and matched their win total from a year ago.
Next up for the Sharks, conference action continues against Grace Brethren on Wednesday and Friday of the upcoming week. The Sharks beat the Lancers once this season, 5-4 in extra innings in the championship of the Southern Cal Invitational.
