Short on players, the boys varsity golf team lost to Villanova 235 to 261 on Thursday at Soule Park Golf Course in Ojai. The Sharks (1-1) had two of five players shoot in the 40s for the nine-hole round.  Senior Jack Platner led Malibu, shooting a 44, and junior Wynn Jacobson-Galan had a 49.
