Slew Of Celebrities Among Thousands Evacuated In Woolsey Fire
Kim Kardashian and Lady Gaga were among the stars evacuated from their Calabasas and Malibu mega-mansions as the fire burned on.

MALIBU, CA – Not even celebrities are immune to the destruction of natural disaster. The Woolsey Fire, powered by Santa Ana winds and low humidity, erupted in Ventura County Thursday afternoon but quickly made its way into Los Angeles County, burning through 35,000 acres, damaging countless homes and forcing an estimated 75,000 properties to evacuate in the process.
The blaze indiscriminately consumed multimillion-dollar mega-mansions and mobile homes alike, leaving a slew of celebrities forced out of their homes. Among the stars affected are the Kardashian-Jenner clan.
Kim, Kourney and Khloe Kardashian were forced to evacuate their Hidden Hills home Thursday night, according to AOL.

Step-mom Caitlyn Jenner wasn't as lucky. The reality star's Malibu home was reportedly destroyed by the Woolsey Fire, according to TMZ. Jenner's home burned down Friday from the fires that forced the entire city of Malibu into mandatory evacuation Friday, the website reported.
The home, which sits on a ride overlooking the beach, was frequently featured on Jenner's E! reality show "I Am Cait," according to AOL. She moved there in 2015, the same year she came out as transgender, the website reported.
Lady Gaga posted photos on her Instagram stories of her evacuating her Malibu home as well. Director Guillermo Del Toro tweeted Friday “Bleak House and the collection may be endangered but the gift of life remains,” after evacuating on Thursday night. The director was referring to his home, which holds a collection of monsters and oddities, the Los Angeles Times reported.
