Every year, around 10 million unwrapped toys are collected and distributed to kids across Southern California, according to ABC7.
There are lots of other ways to get involved if you can't drop off a toy before the 24th. Malibu residents can also donate money via text message by texting "SPARK" to 24365, donate online using the fire department's website or donate by mail by sending checks made out to LAFD FOUNDATION to 1700 Stadium Way #100 with SPARK OF LOVE in the memo line.
