MALIBU, CA — Malibu residents can drop off unwrapped toys at City Hall throughout the holiday season to help underserved children get gifts this year. The toys will go toward the Los Angeles County Fire Department's 29th annual Spark of Love fundraiser, co-sponsored by ABC7, Toys for Tots and Southern California firefighters. Residents can drop off toys through Dec. 24 at City Hall, located at 23825 Stuart Ranch Road, Monday to Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Toys can also be dropped at the Subaru retailer in Thousand Oaks, located at 3725 Auto Mall Drive, or in Santa Monica, located at 1229 Santa Monica Boulevard. Residents are encouraged to donate infant and teen items, which are always lacking, the fire department said. Residents should not donate toy weapons, products with glass or liquids or toiletries.
