STEVE SARKISIAN MUST GO.....NOW!

an alcoholic (with terrible judgment) should not be in charge of a football team...in charge of college aged kids...this decision is easy...

U.S.C. coach Steve Sarkisian must go!……my opinion

I don’t think I have seen anything quite like this….there are worse things…for sure..like standing by and doing nothing as your assistant coach abuses boys (Joe Paterno)…or like doing nothing when you know that one of your players has a history of sexual assault (many coaches, most recently Baylor’s Art Briles)

Those are worse in my book…

But addressing a crowd with your players in the background while you are stone cold drunk…using profanity to denounce your opponents (childish)…saying your opponents “suck” ….that is a giant red flag..and something the U.S.C. program should not tolerate…for a second round...which there will be...

USC will be known throughout the season as the school with the drunk coach…at every game the opposing fans will be gesturing that Sarkisian is a boozer…and U.S.C. will be reminded of Sarkisian’s unprofessional taunts.....what a giant distraction for a team looking to make a national title bid…it’s bad enough when a player does it...but when it is the head coach....? Clean out your office and turn in your parking pass.

This is totally unacceptable…and today…at a press conference…Sarkisian sounded slightly drunk (again)….he sounded confused and mentally compromised…those were not just my opinions, but the opinions of several people who were commenting on the radio.

Sarkisian is not even a top level coach…he is average…in my opinion, though that shouldn’t have any baring on the decision to let him go…

There is no way we should tolerate this...U.S.C, where I am an alumnus, has gone through enough problems and setbacks in recent years...….an apology is not enough…this man needs treatment and he shouldn’t be the spokesmen and coach for a college football program….there is too much at stake…hopefully we can recover from the damage done to the program....

Pat Haden....act now....and avoid future drama.
